SkillsCoach is an established PE teaching and coaching company working within South West London coaching thousands of children on a weekly basis. Our mission is to motivate and inspire the next generation through exciting, engaging PE and football sessions.

Skills Coach are looking for an experienced and professional Rugby coach to deliver highly engaging lessons to children aged between 8-16yrs within our partner Schools. We are seeking hard working, ambitious coaches, with excellent inter-personal skills who share our values and goals.

The role encompasses teaching Rugby during PE Lessons on Wednesdays & Fridays during term time.

Working Hours

Wednesdays & Fridays 1:45-3:15pm

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver a range of high-quality Rugby lessons to children of varying ages.
Ensure the Health & Safety policies & procedures are followed at all times following child protection policy and guidelines.
Consistently motivate and inspire young people to be active and learn through fun engaging sessions.
Communicate effectively with schools and senior management as an advocate for SkillsCoach.

Qualifications & Experience

Hold a coaching or equivalent qualification for the delivery of sport and physical activity to children – Level 2 or above is preferred – For example RFU Level 2
Should have a passion and previous experience to work with and inspire children & young people
No Criminal Convictions and be able to successfully take a DBS criminal records check
Have worked in a school environment and have an understanding of the school/education sector
Articulate themselves in a professional well-presented and professional manner at all times.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £30.00-£50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 3 per week

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 15/01/2024
