As an Area Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing sports coaches, building client relationships, ensuring quality control, and enhancing the overall delivery of our programs in your designated area.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
- Lead, inspire, and manage a team of sports coaches within the assigned area.
- Create a positive team culture, encouraging collaboration and continuous improvement.
2. Client Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring the delivery of high-quality sports programs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients within the area, addressing requests, feedback, and complaints promptly.
3. Coach Assessment and Training:
- Assess the performance of sports coaches regularly, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance coaching skills and maintain consistent quality.
4. Quality Control and Program Oversight:
- Implement and uphold quality control measures to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality sports programs.
- Conduct regular program assessments to identify areas for improvement.
5. Equipment Oversight:
- Oversee and organize equipment for sports coaches within the area, ensuring they have the necessary tools for program delivery.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to maintain an inventory of equipment.
6. Client Requests and Complaints:
- Address client requests and complaints in a timely and effective manner, working to resolve issues and enhance client satisfaction.
7. Attendance and Lateness Tracking:
- Track coach attendance and lateness within the area, addressing issues promptly and maintaining accurate records.
8. Client CRM System Management:
- Oversee the client CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Utilize the CRM system for client communication and reporting.
9. Communication Liaison:
- Serve as a communication liaison between coaches, clients, and higher management.
- Facilitate regular communication channels to ensure a cohesive approach within the area.
10. Performance Metrics Reporting:
- Track and report performance metrics for the assigned area, providing insights for continuous improvement.
11. Schedule Planning:
- Develop schedules for sports coaches within the area, ensuring optimal program delivery.
- Submit schedules to the Operations Manager for approval before implementation.
12. Network Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other Area Managers and the Operations Manager to ensure consistency and alignment with overall company objectives.
- Share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the network.
13. Training and Development Initiatives:
- Collaborate with the Training and Development Manager to implement training initiatives for coaches within the area.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the professional growth of the team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sports coaching and management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for promoting a positive and healthy lifestyle for children.
- Ability to assess coach performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and tracking tools.
Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £21,000.00-£24,500.00 per year
