Premier Education work collaboratively with primary schools to deliver exceptional before and after school care that is innovative, inspiring, and safe for all children within our care. Premier Education successfully run full wrap-around provision in primary schools in the North Kent area.

The setting lead will oversee the running of daily activities, ensuring that children are safe and happy during their visit. They will lead the team of Play workers in maintaining the site according to the legislation and Ofsted requirements.
Main duties include:
Lead a small team (1-2 members) in the daily running of the club.
Support staff in the delivery of a safe and effective activities, while ensuring team members are inspired and happy.
Ensure that there is effective communication between your team, parents, and the school.
To plan, supervise and deliver activities with enthusiasm, ranging from team games, arts and crafts, baking, construction, playground games, and structured play.
To follow protocols and policies and implement these with your team members.
Provide food and refreshments ensuring that hygiene and health and safety standards are met.
Be warm, genuine, nurturing and create unexpected WOW experiences for all.
This role is ideal for a qualified teacher, experienced nursery practitioner or deputy managers that would like to have a hands-on management duty, but still have variety in their day and the opportunity to really have fun with children!

Hours
Breakfast Clubs: 7:15am-8.45am (Monday - Friday)
After School Club: 3:15pm-6:00pm (Monday - Friday)
Salary
£12.50-£13ph
Essential qualities:
A passion for working with children.
Ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
Good communication skills.
Childcare experience.
Outstanding punctuality and attendance.
Desirable qualities:
Appropriate Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Appropriate child protection training.
Current Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
Food Hygiene Certificate.

Pay: £12.60-£14.20 per hour
