Your role will be to provide activities in a safe, secure, and fun environment, providing an outstanding service for busy parents and ensure all staff are doing so too.
Premier Education successfully run full Wraparound provision in primary schools . Our Premier Wraparound centres are Ofsted registered and provide high quality out of school care for the parents. We are looking for an outstanding applicant with experience to oversee our venues.
- Premier Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Wrap-Around manager to join our team. This role involves providing a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment for primary school students during wrap-around care sessions and ensuring all staff at our sites are supported and compliant.
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, creating fun activities, and contributing to the overall well-being and development of young learners and effective communication skills to cxommunicate with all children, their parents and all staff.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Care:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for primary school students during wrap-around care sessions.
- Supervise children and staff to ensure their well-being, safety, and adherence to established rules, guidelines and develpment needs.
- Activity Planning:
- Plan and organize age-appropriate and engaging activities for children in alignment with Premier Education's standards and make sure all staff are also doing so.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages social interaction, creativity, and physical activity for everyone.
- Create a conducive environment for academic engagement and learning.
- Communication:
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents, school staff, and colleagues to be able to deal with any issues effectively.
- Train staff to provide regular updates on children's activities, achievements, and any concerns to parents and supervisors.
- Behavioral Guidance:
- Implement positive behavior management strategies to ensure a respectful and cooperative atmosphere for everyone
- Address behavioral issues promptly and professionally .
- Promote everyones safety and Well-being ,ensuring all staff are trained and compliant.
- Monitor and promote health and safety standards during play and recreational activities.
- Respond appropriately to any health or safety concerns, following Premier Education's protocols.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and activities.
- Provide feedback and contribute to reports on children's progress and development.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with primary school children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Understanding of child development and the ability to engage children in age-appropriate activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant childcare or play work qualifications are advantageous.
- Atleast a level 2 EYPS and First Aid,safeguarding and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
