We are a vibrant after-school club offering exciting, educational, and dynamic activities for young students. As part of our diverse range of extracurricular programs, we are looking for a passionate and energetic Fencing Instructor to join our team and deliver fun and engaging fencing lessons that inspire and develop students’ skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver after-school fencing lessons that are fun, engaging, and appropriate for children of various ages and abilities.
- Develop creative and interactive fencing activities that keep students motivated and excited about learning.
- Foster a positive and safe environment where students can develop their fencing skills while building teamwork, discipline, and confidence.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to students and help them set and achieve goals in their fencing journey.
- Create lesson plans that cater to the needs and skill levels of individual students while maintaining group dynamics.
- Maintain a safe and organized space, ensuring equipment is properly set up and in good condition.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure the smooth running of all after-school programs.
- Communicate with parents or guardians about their child’s progress and upcoming events.
Requirements:
- Previous experience teaching young students, particularly in a sporting or extracurricular environment.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring children through the sport of fencing.
- Ability to create fun, engaging, and structured lessons that captivate young students.
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, or the willingness to obtain one.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate children.
- A positive, energetic, and friendly attitude.
- First Aid certification (preferred, but not essential).
Desirable:
- Coaching qualifications in fencing (e.g., British Fencing or equivalent).
- Experience working in after-school clubs or similar educational settings.
