Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Sports Coach to join our team in Newham and inspire young children to achieve their full potential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and a desire to educate and motivate individuals in various sporting disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging coaching sessions to enhance children skills and performance
- Motivate and encourage athletes to set and achieve personal goals
- Monitor and evaluate children progress to adjust coaching strategies accordingly
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for children to thrive
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to coordinate training schedules and competitions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sports coaching, with a focus on educating and developing children
- Recognised coaching qualification in the relevant sport(s)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children of all levels
- Passion for sports and a commitment to promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
- Ability to adapt coaching techniques to suit individual learning styles
- Organised approach to planning training sessions and managing children progress
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £15.00-£30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
