Activity/Play Leader

£11.44-£16ph (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Part time position with up to 17.5 hours per week
Sessions operate 3pm-6:30pm Monday to Friday during school term-time with up to 40 hours available during school holidays
We are recruiting for a leading provider of childcare provision for primary school children in London. This company is an Ofsted registered provider of wraparound, sport, and inclusion activities and continues to grow in size, quality and scope every year.
They are looking for play and activity leaders who are organised, motivated and flexible with excellent personal and social skills, and who are dedicated to supporting students within a before and after school setting. In this role, you will assist with planning and delivering a structure for activities, this could be sports, indoor and outdoor games, arts and crafts, downtime and structured play. Not everyday will be the same!
As an Activity Leader, you will ideally bring:
- Experience delivering activities and play sessions with primary school aged children
- A passion for childcare and child development
- Confidence to build positive and professional relationships
- A caring and sensitive approach to supporting children’s individual needs
- Good Knowledge and understanding of Ofsted Welfare Requirements
- Energy and enthusiasm, being prepared to get involved in children’s play
