Our Playball team of foundation phase specialists is expanding and we are looking for a part-time and full-time coach to join our team.

Playball sports and coaching programmes are about preparing children for life, with our comprehensive movement and sport skills-based programme for 2-10 yrs old, which is internationally recognised in 13 countries across the globe. Our franchise currently sees over 1500 children every week and we are expanding all the time, thanks to our scientific approach and age appropriate sports development curriculums. We deliver classes in private centres, schools, nurseries and offer a well paid and enjoyable active work-life!
After an initial training period you’ll have the opportunity to deliver your own classes Monday to Friday (as well as Saturday classes, which are optional). We also run a booming entertainment sector, alongside our educational offering, where the team run weekend birthday parties and holiday camps during school holidays and half terms.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and sporty person with a passion for teaching, to start training immediately.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Delivering age specific classes following the Playball curriculum, which are provided for each lesson.
- Communicating effectively with parents, teachers and key partners before and after sessions, including providing feedback on their child’s progress.
- Taking occasional cash or cheque payments.
- Keeping registers and providing weekly feedback on classes
- Attending bi-annual training workshops with the Playball head office
- Continued professional development through comprehensive in-house training
- Responsible for registers and equipment
Qualifications and Skills
- Having worked with children previously is desirable however all early year's requirements will be provided as part of your training
- A keen interest in sport and an active lifestyle is required
- Various qualifications will be completed once you have started your training such as first aid, safeguarding and other applicable modules.
- Good people skills
- You must be able to complete end of term reports accurately and professionally
Benefits
- You’ll be hired as a contractor with full terms notice period either way.
- coaches will run 5/6 classes per day during the week, where you will have your own class to work with for the full term. However, there is also the option of occasional weekend and holiday/half term work at an increased hourly rate.
- after training, coaches earn £15-£25 per 45 minute class. Holiday camps and Saturday classes run at £25 per hour.
